Well, I've finally succumb to the peer pressure ( my mom) and started a blog. It's mostly for my friends to be updated on my projects I've put off because of school and my somewhat upcoming move to Portland.I started by restoring an old bureau from the local thrift store. This will be the first time I've moved somewhere without furniture, and I thought I'd get a head start on preparations. Here are pictures of the process.
I got the knobs from a little store downtown. This nice old woman brings all these crafts back form Mexico. She's literally a warehouse of knowledge! I knew I wanted birds, and these were just perfect.
